MAC Pedro Lourenco Lipstick Limited Edition Collection

The MAC Pedro Lourenco limited edition lipstick collection consists of four shades with amplified finishes housed in rubberized faux-black casings with gold detailing. See pictures and swatches after the jump.

“Peach Beige”

“Peach Beige”, like all of the lipsticks in this collection, has an amplified finish.

All of the lipsticks in this collection have an amplified finish. This is MAC’s way of saying that these lipsticks are creamy, superbly pigmented and shiny. When I think of lipstick, I think of this formula. Beautiful!

“Peach Beige”

“Peach Beige” is described as a “beige with gold pearl”. Don’t let the description fool you. This is a gorgeous ultra light nude.

Here is a swatch of “Peach Beige”.

“True Red”

“True Red”

“True Red” is described as a “vivid bright coral red”.

“True Red” actually leans very orange. On certain complexions this amplified formulation will actually look like pure orange. This shade is not for those who fear bright lipstick. It’s a very fun and contemporary shade.

This beauty is sold out on www.maccosmetics.com; however, fear not! Urban Decay has a Revolution Lipstick named “Bang”. It is very similar to MAC’s “True Red” – but just a little “oranger”.

“Ruby”

“Ruby”

“Ruby” is described as a “midtone blue red”.

You can never have too many shades of red. “Ruby” is a glamorous edition to any makeup addict’s collection especially since it’s blue-based. Reds with a blue base magically give your teeth the illusion of a whiter appearance. Now smile!

“Roxo”

“Roxo”

“Roxo” is a deep red with a warm undertone.

“Roxo” has a warm undertone that may pull almost brown on certain complexions. It’s a glamorous and sophisticated shade.

Here’s a swatch of “Roxo” for your viewing pleasure.

“Roxo” is sold out at www.maccosmetics.com. Temptalia pointed out that “Gash” from Urban Decay is similar but “brighter”. Honestly, I love both shades; however, I do not consider “Gash” to be a duplicate shade of “Roxo”.

The MAC x Pedro Lourenco lipsticks each retail for $17.50. This collection will be available at select MAC locations June 5th, and is available now at www.maccosmetics.com.
