MAC Heirloom Mix Enchantment Pressed Pigment

MAC Heirloom Mix Pressed Pigment in “Enchantment” is described as a violet with blue violet sparkles. It’s definitely difficult to capture how pretty this really is with my iPhone. Pressed pigments can be a little tricky to work with. It’s better if you think of them not as eyeshadows but, well… pigments. This swatches terribly with my finger. A dry eyeshadow brush was only slightly better. When I scraped a little off, mixed it with Fix+ and applied it with a damp eyeshadow brush, I achieved a nice foiled look. I found the actual best way to apply this is by simply using your finger. I’m so used to using makeup brushes and mixing mediums that I forgot that we are all equipped with a natural makeup tool – our fingers! I totally overthought it! By simply rubbing my finger gently into the pan and the. Swiping it across my lids, I experienced the best and most true-to-color pigmentation. People who enjoy sheer eyeshadow looks will like this. People who don’t want to work for their pigmentation or dislike using their fingers, steer clear!
